The genuine HWDeviceService64.exe file is a software component of FindDevice64 by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd..Huawei Technologies, a mainland Chinese company involved in providing broadband Internet service and USB modem sticks to nearly one-third of the world, includes this Windows service that starts at Windows bootup in its Virgin Mobile Broadband software installation, (popular in Australia, the USA, and Indonesia), and probably the software from other ISPs also. It can be uninstalled by selecting "Utility Common Driver" or "EMSC" under the Control Panel's "Uninstall a Program" option. This version is for 64-bit Windows. It pops up an Autorun window for the user to interface with DCSHOST digital rights management software when it is encountered on a mobile device attached to or paired with the computer, or on a website. DCSHOST is sometimes used by photo gallery software on smartphones and digital cameras, as well as websites with galleries. Huawei is located in Shenzhen in Guangdong province in mainland China and is reputed to have close ties to China's military, causing some governments to prohibit use of their products for official communications.
