Synaptics - SynTPHelper.exe

The genuine SynTPHelper.exe file is a software component of Synaptics Pointing Device by Synaptics.
Synaptics Pointing Devices enable touch sensitivity on devices such as laptops, touchscreens, and special keyboards. SynTPHelper.exe runs the helper file for the installed Synaptics Pointing Device. This is not an essential Windows process but disabling it might cause problems with the pointing device.

Synaptics Pointing Devices may refer to integrated hardware devices such as trackpads, touchpads, touchscreens, etc. manufactured by Synaptics. Problems related to these devices may be resolved by updating the device drivers. Uninstalling this device will not remove it as Windows will reinstall it upon rebooting the system. To disable it, please do so using the Device Manager.
